Level 4 Sustainable Resource Operations and Management Apprenticeship

The Apprenticeship in Sustainable Resource Operations and Management combines on and off the job training that will enable an apprentice to operate appropriately in a supervisor or management role and in accordance with the requirements of their employer and the needs of the business.

Who is it for?

The Apprenticeship Framework is designed to deliver skills training to anyone working in a supervisor or management role and is suitable for a wide range of occupations such as:

  • Recycling/Waste Collection;
  • Waste Site Activities – Landfill, Transfer Station;
  • Recycling Activities – Material Recycling Facility, Household Recycling Centres, Composting Facility.

What will I Gain?

On successful completion you will receive a Wamitab qualification at Level 4 along with your portfolio which is a record of your achievement to keep as a reference.

How does it work?

The apprenticeship framework comprises of two combined elements, vocational and technical, into one qualification:

  • Level 4 Diploma in Systems and Operations Management

An approved Wamas Assessor will be assigned to you following the registration process who will offer all the support and guidance to assess you through the qualification and training sessions.

You will be required to build a portfolio of evidence based on classroom sessions undertaking the technical elements with supporting workbooks, short assignments and on the job observation/assessment against the set Wamitab standard.

The award is delivered over a minimum of 12 months although this is dependent on the individual.
